Here’s the low down on the how to and what you need:

• A glass jar of your choice, some paper (can be coloured) scissors and pen.
• Cut your pieces of paper into strips long enough to be folded or rolled into the jar.
• This next part just requires a little thinking time. Write down all the things that make you smile when you think of your partner or loved one. You can even include funny memories. If you want to so something extra special, using different coloured cards as categories, write down the things you think your partner would love to hear when she’s sad, happy, missing you or just wants a laugh.
• Once done wrap or roll the pieces of paper and place them in the jar. If you decided to go with the category method, make a colour code label and gift!
